Italy based auto designer Liviu Tudoran has taken inspiration from the Apple Macintosh products and designed a concept car called iMove for the year 2020. This car will be electric, of course, and will feature the same general design lines like all the latest Macintosh products.

Apple To Release iMove – Smart Concept Car by 2020. The car of the future is finally here, and it is made by Apple. It is simply named ‘iMove’ – created by auto designer Liviu Tudoran.

After creating some of the best computers, phones, tablets and music players, designers have now created the ultimate car of the future. It is a zero emissions vehicle that will be propelled by electric motors, and of course it will feature some of the best gadgetry that we’ve ever seen in a car. The main idea is to create an Apple branded car that will break the general idea of conventional vehicles by the year 2020. The vehicle is inspired from Apple products and the lifestyle of those who use them.

This small city vehicle is powered by electricity and will be able to seat 3 passengers in a variety of configurations. The interior space shines with a full touchscreen display that covers the entire dashboard and includes a variety of gadgets to play with. The top of the iMove is inspired by Apple’s Macintosh mouse shape and can also open while on the move to give a cabriolet feeling. The exterior surface is covered with a photochromic material that allows the user to change the vehicle’s appearance using available presets. Luggage is stored under the elastic textile material placed in the rear of the vehicle. The material can hold any type of object under its pressure.

The roof of the vehicle is covered with pyramidal receptors that use sunlight to generate electricity to charge the vehicle’s electronic dashboard. Are you ready for the car of the future? It’s finally here!

Customize the messages. For example, you can choose to be warned about the address where you are, the current orientation and speed, about speech notes, nearby points of interest, etc.; Enable the 'Notify me' functionality to be alerted even when the app is not running.NotesiMove is designed to be fully accessible with VoiceOver.By enabling 'Notify me', iMove will use the location services while running in background. Continued use of GPS dramatically decreases battery life.iMove is developed by EveryWare Technologies with the sponsorship of Retina Italia Onlus. On first peak, Imove is truly impressive. I learned about spots around me I didn't know existed though I've walked past many of them in my 4 years at this address. No other orientation type app has given me this much information. When double tapping a particular location, the address is then given but does not stay on the screen.

In situations where there may be more info available through a web page, I would like the ability to access that information, perhaps tie-ins with Facebook, Foursquare, etc. Now that the weather allows me to use bare hands again, I'll run it through some tests; it's difficult to activate an Iphone with numb fingers and impossible with the kind of gloves anyone but a fool would wear in minus 30 degrees, and that, gentle reader, is with no wind!. or to post comments #2 Imove question Submitted by Maya on 6 April, 2013.
